DAOIST DEATH MEDICINE developed by Dr. Randine Lewis, is a system that combines ancient Daoist philosophy with Chinese medicine to guide individuals through the end-of-life process, fostering a peaceful transition and an understanding of one’s eternal nature. The system emphasizes preparing for death as a transformative journey of self-discovery, utilizing tools like acupuncture, herbal medicine, and qigong to support both the dying person and their caregivers. Specific herbs and essential oils are used to address physical, psychological and spiritual challenges during end-of-life care.

These essential oil blends are prepared as 4 % or 6% dilutions in gentle carrier oils, and may be used aromatically or topically. Each blend addresses a phase of the death and dying process.
