Absolute of Ye Ju Hua “Shen Nong Ju” - Dendranthema indicum Flos 5ml
Wild chrysanthemum flower
Thre are many varieties of wild chrysanthemum. This variety, called Shen Nong Ju, is named after the Divine Farmer of the Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing. It grows wild in the Shen Nong Jia Nature Preserve, a Unesco World Heritage site.
The floral aroma of Ye Ju Hua absolute is imbued with a cleansing, bitter power. Along with its menthol-like spice, it opens the nose, cools the throat and vibrates on the skin. It's feisty spirit cuts through confusion and doubt.
White Chrysamthemum's "wild" cousin is compared and described in the Ben Cao Zheng Yi, " In addition to the other types of Chrysanthemum, Chrysanthemi indici Flos (Ye Ju Hua) grows in most places, the flowers and leaves of which are little, the stamens small and bean-like. The color is definitely yellow and it's actions are fierce and violent, with a particularly bitter flavor, it's leaves are slender and tough. It can be used in external medicine as a topical application."

Qi Li Xiang has a delightful, soft jasmine like aroma with a tangy sweet orange undertone. It’s effect immediately makes one want to look up and smile.
Orange Jessamine is a small, tropical, hardy evergreen tree or shrub growing up to 7 m tall. It’s pretty, fragrant white flowers bloom throughout the year. It is native to China, South and Souteast Asia. Honey bee farms have been known to plant Orange Jessamine near bee hives serving not only as food for the bees but as protection from harsh winds.
Murraya paniculata has a calming effect on the spirit. In China, It is used in traditional medicine as an analgesic and to clean toxins. It moves the blood and resolves swelling and bruising.

Rosa × damascena, is a rose hybrid. The flowers are renowned for their fine fragrance. Damascus Rose is a cultivated flower, no longer found growing wild. Recent genetic tests suggest that its origin is the foothills of central Asia, home of its pollen parent. Gathering the flowers is quite labor-intensive as it must be done by hand. There are about twenty to forty days per year when harvesting occurs. The roses are gathered by hand and then steam distilled.
Rose essential oil nourishes the yin and has a regenerative effect on the skin. Consider diluting with Pomegranate seed oil as a moisturizer for dry, mature skin.
Studies show that Rose essential oil increases sperm and egg counts.

The petals of Damascus Rose flowers are soaked in sweet almond and sunflower oils to create a vibrant (in aroma and in color) floral infusion. Rose oil is moisturizing, reduces dark spots on the skin, and anti-aging. It contains high concentration of Vitamin A, which stimulates turnover of skin cells to reduce wrinkles, and heal inflamed acne legions or scars.
Sunflower oil is a truly gentle, nourishing oil that can be used for all skin types. It is high in Vitamin E, A, C, D, and contains antioxidants.
Sweet Almond oil is also extremely gentle and great for all skin types. It is moisturizing, helps to protect against UV radiation damage, and gives skin a smooth appearance.

Our exquisite 100% pure Jasmine Sambac essential oil is produced by CO2 extraction. It’s expansive, long lasting full, floral aroma is immediately euphoric. It’s effects are deeply calming and uplifting.
Jasminum sambac is a species of jasmine native to a small region in the eastern Himalayas, Bhutan and neighboring India. It is cultivated in many places, especially across much of South Asia. The flowers of this small, water loving evergreen shrub are strongest at night and harvested as buds during early morning in order to capture them at their peak to produce the most fragrant essential oil. These flowers with their exquisite fragrance are nocturnal, evidence of their truly Yin nature.
In classical Chinese medical terms, Jasmine essential oil nourishes water and clears fire. Its channel affinities are to the Kidney, Liver and Heart.
Jasmine nourishes Kidney Yin and Jing essence. It can help to clear deficient heat, night sweats and agitation. It promotes estrogen and is moisturizing and regenerative for skin. At the same time, its mucolytic nature breaks up and eliminates excess Yin Stasis.
Jasmine essential oil may be used to promote childbirth. It is a Uterine tonic and stimulant and is helpful to ease the stress of a prolonged labor (one drop on the tongue.)

Gardenia blooms in the Spring, season of the Wood Element. The heady, sweet, fruity aroma of its essential oil is imbued with the blossoming of growth, renewal and transcendence.
Its white color reflects its affinity with the Metal Element and Lungs which deal with loss and letting go. Zhi Zi Hua essential oil cools Lung heat and releases overwhelming grief and sorrow trapped deep inside to the surface.

The divine, distinctive, fresh floral perfume of this most concentrated form of Bai Ju Hua elevates and lightens the spirit, cools and clears the eyes and head. It leaves a soft, euphoric effect.
The belief in the benefits of Ju Hua to sustain longevity and well-being has been expressed in poetry and medicine throughout Chinese history. The earliest Materia Medica, Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing tells us, "taken over a long time, it will facilitate qi and blood, lighten the body, and prevent aging.
The Ben Cao Cong Xin (1751) describes, "sweet chrysanthemum flower" is "thoroughly imbued with the qi of the four seasons, it sprouts in winter, produces leaves in spring, blossoms in summer, and reaches full flower in autumn."
