This essential oil blend may be ingested, taking one to three drops by mouth, best combined with a little honey and water, or milk and taken warm. It is also recommended to be applied as a warm compress over the abdomen, and placed on appropriate acupuncture points. To compress, use 10-20 drops in 1 pint of water, soak cloth and apply warm over the area using a hot water bottle to sustain the warmth.
