Job Opportunity with Alchemica Botanica TCM Essential Oils

Job description: Alchemica Botanica TCM Essential Oils is a company that provides essential oils and products made from Chinese Medicine herbs. The job will be located in the San Francisco workshop; the position is part time with flexible hours that can be set by the employee. We have a close-knit, friendly work environment. Starting pay is $20/hour, with raises depending on length of employment.

Job duties:

  • Fulfilling orders placed through the online store and to our TCM supply distributors

  • Checking and maintaining inventory

  • Blending, bottling, and labeling of products to be sold

  • Checking email and voicemail, and providing customer service

  • Creating invoices, documents, and spreadsheets

  • Ordering of supplies needed for business operations

  • There is a creative aspect to the job in terms of ideas for products or product aesthetics, marketing, and writing product information

  • Maintaining, tidying, and organizing the workshop

Qualifications:

  • Comfort and proficiency with a computer, specifically with Google docs, Microsoft Office/Office Suite, and Instagram/Facebook

  • Excellent writing and communication skills 

  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot 

  • Enthusiasm for the products and desire to help others and share information that would benefit people and their health

  • Chinese Medicine knowledge is helpful, but not required.

  • Experience with marketing and social media is a valuable asset in this role

  • English proficiency required, and Chinese language skills a plus!
